ME Equipment Technician

Responsibilities include daily start-up and shutdown of wave soldering equipment, routine maintenance of wave soldering and peripheral equipment, equipment adjustments during production line changeovers (e.g., depaneling machines, wave soldering), quality issue handling post-wave soldering, programming of depaneling machines, skills training and guidelines for depaneling operators, and troubleshooting DIP peripheral equipment.

Qualifications: Perform daily start-up and shutdown of wave soldering equipment. Conduct routine maintenance on wave soldering and peripheral equipment. Monitor the operational status of wave soldering and related equipment. Adjust related equipment (e.g., depaneling machines, wave soldering) during production line changeovers. Handle requests, collection, and addition of wave soldering materials. Address quality issues post-wave soldering. Program the depaneling machine. Troubleshoot issues with the depaneling machine. Perform daily inspections on production-related equipment. Provide skills training and guidelines for depaneling operators. Organize and maintain the 5S environment in the wave soldering area. Adjust and troubleshoot DIP peripheral equipment. Inspect depaneling and reflow fixtures for proper usage. Handle attendance, overtime applications, and K3 maintenance for department personnel. Procure production-related materials and track progress. Assist engineers with major equipment issues, equipment maintenance, and other tasks like lean tube setup. Proficiency in Chinese or English. Associate’s degree or higher in electronics, computer science, or related fields; experience preferred.
