Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Numeracy Coach to join our team in the academic year 2026-27.

At Yas School, we deliver the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum and have a special focus on inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing future-ready learners. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating over 1750 girls and boys on our extensive campus.
Candidate requirements
We are seeking a proven practitioner with expertise in UK or US curricula, and ideally experience with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.
As a Numeracy Coach, you will be responsible for implementing targeted numeracy strategies as described in the numeracy improvement plan: providing coaching and support for targeted teachers, team teaching, supporting the delivery of student intervention programs, and developing effective instructional plans and resources.
Qualifications and experience
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education
Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is an advantage
Be proficient in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent)
Bilingual skills (English and Arabic) are highly desirable
Hold a UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be working towards attainment
Have 4+ years of classroom teaching experience in Mathematics/Numeracy
Prior experience of coaching is an advantage
