About the company
Overview Xperience Life Chiropractic, is a multidisciplinary wellness clinic in Calgary, looking for a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be the sole physiotherapist in the clinic, giving you real ownership over building and growing your own caseload alongside our existing team of practitioners.
Your tasks
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions in an outpatient, multidisciplinary clinic setting
- Collaborate closely with our chiropractors and other practitioners to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery outcomes
- Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise programs, and self-management strategies
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans to maximize results
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Requirements
New physiotherapy graduates are welcome to apply, as long as you are legally registered to work in Alberta, Canada.
Requirements
- *Valid licensure/registration as a Physiotherapist in Alberta*
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
- Solid understanding of physiotherapy-relevant medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with patients and fellow healthcare professionals
- Comfortable working independently as the clinic's only physio, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- New graduates encouraged to apply ? mentorship and support available as you build your practice
Preference will be given to candidates with training in IMS, dry needling, and/or acupuncture.
Licence/Certification
- Registered Physiotherapy License to work in Alberta? (required)
- Dry Needling therapy certificate? (required)
