The Caf Server provides friendly, efficient customer service to Boomtown Caf patrons. Assists with short-order service and works collaboratively with Caf staff to ensure a positive experience for all WDM guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes opening and closing procedures for the Caf and cash register.
- Prepares menu boards.
- Provides exemplary customer service to caf patrons.
- Greets, seats, and takes customer orders; facilitates take out orders.
- Serves prepared food and beverages to customer tables.
- Processes payments accurately, following established procedures.
- Restocks coffee machines, coolers, replenishes napkins, condiments, and other essentials.
- Clears tables, washes dishes, and operates the dishwasher (loading/unloading).
- Monitors supply levels and adds items to the grocery list when needed.
- Contributes to shopping list to maintain inventory of supplies.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience working in a restaurant, caf, or other customer service role is an asset.
- Experience handling cash and using a till or point-of-sale system is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Minimum of four (4) 7.5 hour shifts per week with the possibility or more during peak seasons.
Salary Range: $17.06 - $19.78 an hour.
Shifts fall on Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am - 3:30.
