Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare environment as a Housekeeping Direct Support Professional (DSP), where your energy and attention to detail will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming space for individuals, staff, and visitors. In this vital role, you will perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation tasks within residential settings, adhering to strict safety protocols and infection prevention standards. Your proactive approach will contribute to a healthy environment that promotes healing and well-being for all who enter. Duties Teach independent living skills and maintain safety. Work directly side-by-side with the individuals. Helping the individual complete chores like laundry, dishes, and sweeping rather than just doing it for them. Help the individuals perform thorough cleaning of their rooms, common areas, and restrooms, using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting counters, and taking out the trash. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management, demonstrating excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Qualifications Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe environment by following safety protocol adherence at all times.
