Your tasks
About the Job You will manage approximately 15 to 20 clients, providing tailored support that helps prevent homelessness, sustain accommodation and address barriers to independent living.
Duties will include
- Assessing individual needs and risks, agreeing practical goals and reviewing progress.
- Providing flexible support that recognises the effects of trauma and encourages recovery.
- Coordinating input from housing, health, criminal justice and specialist services.
- Leading case discussions and reviews involving several agencies.
- Helping clients access benefits, accommodation, employment and training.
- Sharing expertise on complex needs and support relating to offending.
- Guiding volunteers, mentors and student placements.
- Recording outcomes and contributing to service improvements and contractual targets.
Requirements
About the Successful Applicant You will bring experience supporting people with complex needs and the ability to manage a varied caseload. Strong assessment, safeguarding and partnership working skills will help you coordinate effective support. You will be organised, compassionate and confident advocating for clients, with an understanding of homelessness prevention and the challenges affecting accommodation stability.
