At Howard Head Sports Medicine, part of the Vail Health family, we help athletes and active individuals of all ages get back to doing what they love. We're seeking a passionate Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Dillon, Colorado, supporting our thriving outpatient orthopedic practice while also partnering closely with our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to deliver exceptional patient care across the continuum of recovery.

Every day, you'll help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and performance-limiting conditions so they can return to the activities they love. From post-operative athletes to active community members, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients.

What You'll Be Doing

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and sports medicine patients

Provide evidence-based rehabilitation for post-operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions

Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Support patient care initiatives associated with our Ambulatory Surgery Center, including post-surgical rehabilitation planning and coordination

Educate patients and families on injury prevention, recovery expectations, home exercise programs, and return-to-activity strategies

Utilize advanced clinical reasoning and manual therapy techniques to restore function and improve performance

Contribute to a positive team culture focused on exceptional patient experience and outcomes

Assist in building and growing orthopedic rehabilitation services within our mountain communities

What We're Looking For

Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado (or eligible for Colorado licensure through Compact Privilege)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Experience or strong interest in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and post-operative rehabilitation

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Passion for helping patients return to sports, recreation, work, and active lifestyles

Interest in working collaboratively with both outpatient therapy and Ambulatory Surgery Center teams
