Job Summary
You will monitor and supervise construction site activities, ensuring safety, quality,and compliance with regulations while coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues and support effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor work progress, site safety, and quality control to ensure compliance with project standards and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Verify materials and inspect construction works to identify and report discrepancies to the supervising team for timely resolution
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve site issues and facilitate smooth project execution
- Lead attendance and active participation in site meetings, maintaining precise records of progress, inspections, and variations to support project tracking
- Review method statements and assist in ensuring proper site execution aligned with project requirements and safety standards
- Ensure all works comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Assist in preparing site instructions, defect lists, and submission forms to support project documentation and quality assurance
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant onsite supervision experience in major construction works, specifically deep excavation projects
