Intelligence Specialist

Major duties

• You will evaluate and integrate all-source intelligence and open source information into top-level assessments.
• You will apply extensive knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques and/or collection management systems to complex work assignment.
• You will prepare and produce initiative reports and briefs for executive level audience, that demonstrates extensive knowledge and comprehensive analytical expertise.
• You will identify and/or provide resolution of intelligence gaps.
• You will serve as Deputy for Plans and Exercises and provide continuity within the department.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level GS/GG-13. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Gathering Intelligence and Information Operations requirements from planning conferences and communicate them to departments for further planning and tasking; 2) Translating exercise development and planning down to designated personnel for completion; 3) Evaluating and integrating all-source intelligence and open source information into top-level assessments; 4) Planning and executing exercises and wargames for the intended use of designated personnel. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
