JANITOR

A Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of the grocery store. The janitor ensures that the shopping area, restrooms, floors, and other facilities are clean, safe, and comfortable for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Cleaning Floors – Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors in all areas of the grocery store.

2. Cleaning Restrooms – Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, and restroom facilities.

3. Garbage Collection – Collect and dispose of garbage properly and replace trash bags.

4. Maintaining Cleanliness – Keep aisles, entrances, exits, and other areas clean and organized.

5. Spill Management – Immediately clean spilled liquids or fallen products to prevent accidents.

6. Cleaning Equipment – Maintain and properly store cleaning tools and equipment.

7. Sanitation – Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as door handles, counters, and shopping cart handles.

8. Safety Maintenance – Place wet floor signs when necessary to prevent slips and falls.

9. Assisting Employees – Help maintain the cleanliness of the stockroom, employee areas, and other store facilities.

1 0. Following Safety Procedures – Use cleaning materials and chemicals properly according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Male or Female

• At least eighteen (18) years old and above

• High School/Senior High/ALS graduate

• With or without experience

• NO visible tattoo/s

• Can start ASAP.
