What You'll Do: Work as part of a two- to three-person survey crew assisting with a variety of land surveying activities

Assist with boundary, topographic, construction staking, and other field surveys

Operate and assist with survey equipment including robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors

Carry supplies, hold equipment, drive stakes, and assist with clearing survey lines as needed

Record field measurements and assist in maintaining accurate survey documentation

Maintain and transport survey equipment safely to and from job sites

Coordinate with the survey crew and project teams to complete assignments efficiently and accurately

What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior experience working in an outdoor environment preferred

Previous land surveying experience preferred

Experience with Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Trimble GPS equipment a plus

Valid driver’s license required (this position requires driving)

Strong math skills and attention to detail

Written and verbal communication skills

Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a wide range of temperatures and outdoor work environments

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to climb hills and walk long distances across varied terrain

Ability to traverse wooded areas, construction sites, and undeveloped land

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

Ability to work in environments that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, and yellow jackets

Schedule:

A regular schedule of Monday–Thursday 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., plus overtime as needed
