Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Perform functional and technical testing of BIM software

• Validate software features against engineering requirements and BIM workflows

• Identify and report software defects and collaborate with development and QA teams

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues

• Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and technical training

• Develop training materials, user guides, and technical documentation

• Validate Revit/BIM workflows and ensure alignment with industry standards

• Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams

• Support continuous improvement of software quality and customer experience

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a strong BIM focus

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

• Advanced hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP

• Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, workflows, and coordination

• Strong mechanical and MEP engineering knowledge

• Experience with Revit families, templates, and project standards

• Experience in software testing, validation, or QA is highly preferred

• Customer support, technical training, or product demonstration experience is a plus

• Knowledge of fire protection engineering and NFPA is an advantage

• Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus

• Experience in BIM, AEC, MEP, ConTech, CAD/BIM solutions, or engineering software is preferred
