Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing fabrication equipment particularly in the lithography systems
- Create mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software like SolidWorks
- Preparing part and assembly drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and process engineers to optimize equipment performance
- Supporting equipment installation, testing, and maintenance in semiconductor fabs
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment design, precision machinery, automation equipment, or related industries.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
- Experience creating mechanical drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, precision engineering, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to Malaysia to support project and customer requirements.
