Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Lagos. The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and expanding STN’s customer base across individual, SME, and corporate segments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, developing proposals, presenting solutions to prospective clients, and managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to contract closure. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, coordinating with internal teams to ensure service delivery, and tracking performance metrics to meet revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will actively represent Swift Telephone Network at meetings, events, and client visits to promote the company’s services and brand. Qualifications
Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with a track record of identifying and converting opportunities. Solid understanding of business and commercial principles, including sales processes and revenue growth strategies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and build long-term client relationships. Experience in account management, including onboarding, retention, and expansion of client portfolios. Relevant experience in telecommunications, ICT, or related industries is an advantage. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for managing pipelines and reporting. Proven ability to work on-site, meet field targets, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer needs and market trends.
