Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute project procurement strategies. Translate project requirements into actionable procurement plans. Source and prequalify technically and commercially competent vendors. Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders, and contracts. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project-critical materials and equipment.

Lead vendor and subcontractor negotiations.

Monitor procurement costs against approved budgets. Manage procurement risks and long-lead items. Coordinate expediting and logistics activities.

Ensure compliance with client-approved requirements.

Maintain complete and auditable procurement documentation.

Support project teams in achieving schedule and cost objectives.

Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian Content requirements.

Build and maintain a reliable Oil & Gas vendor and subcontractor network. Review project scope, contract requirements, BOQs, MTOs, specifications, drawings, datasheets, and procurement schedules.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in:

Oil & Gas/ offshore procurement and marine-related project requirements  Vendor prequalification & Technical/commercial bid evaluation RFQ management & Material procurement Purchase order management & Vendor expediting Contract negotiation & Cost control Logistics coordination & Long-lead item management Procurement risk management  Procurement Audit & reporting 

Digital Competency:

Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar platforms will be advantageous Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint (Google Slides, Canva ( as equivalent) Procurement/ERP systems & E-procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Oracle) Procurement tracking tools
