The Creative Manager / Creative Director will be responsible for leading the creative direction and visual communication of the company across its brand, marketing, retail, events, and corporate initiatives. This is a hands-on creative role for someone with strong experience across different areas of design, including branding, retail, events, print, environmental graphics, promotional materials, and corporate communications. The ideal candidate should be able to take a project from an initial idea through to final artwork and production, while working closely with management, internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure the final outcome is creative, practical, and aligned with the company’s brand. Experience & Skills Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in graphic design, including at least 4 years in a creative or design leadership role. Significant experience within MICE, events, exhibitions, experiential marketing or a closely related creative agency environment. Proven experience delivering creative work for major or international brands. A strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding graphic design, visual storytelling, branding and campaign development across both physical and digital applications. Strong conceptual ability with the confidence to originate ideas and creative concepts from a blank page. Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and inspiring a creative/design team in a fast-paced agency or project-driven environment. Expert-level proficiency in CorelDraw, Autocad, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, layout and design systems. Solid technical knowledge of artwork preparation and production across print and digital applications, including large-format graphics, signage, fabrication, event screen graphics, presentations and digital assets. Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects. A polished and confident communicator who can present, articulate and defend creative ideas to clients and senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of both digital and physical design applications. Experience taking projects from concept and design through artwork preparation and final production. Good understanding of print production, materials, finishing, fabrication, and installation. Experience working with printers, fabricators, production houses, suppliers, and other creative partners. Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative and commercial design work. Ability to understand a brief, develop concepts, present ideas, and turn them into practical final solutions. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Good understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, branding, and visual hierarchy. Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with different deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Creative Direction & Brand Development Develop creative concepts and visual directions for company campaigns, events, retail activities, marketing initiatives, and corporate communications. Maintain consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints. Translate business objectives and ideas into clear, engaging visual concepts. Provide creative direction and recommendations to management and internal teams. Develop new creative approaches that help strengthen the company’s overall brand presence. Design & Visual Communication Lead and execute a wide range of design projects from concept to final artwork. Develop key visuals, campaign materials, presentations, advertisements, brochures, posters, signage, displays, and promotional materials. Create artwork for both digital and physical applications. Adapt creative concepts across different formats, sizes, locations, and media. Ensure artwork is technically suitable for production and installation. Retail, Events & Environmental Design Develop creative solutions for retail displays, point-of-sale materials, roadshows, exhibitions, events, and promotional spaces. Work on event graphics, backdrops, banners, stage visuals, booth graphics, directional signage, wall graphics, and other environmental applications. Understand the practical requirements of producing and installing creative materials in physical spaces. Work with production teams, printers, fabricators, installers, and vendors to ensure creative concepts are delivered accurately. Print & Production Prepare and manage artwork for various print and production requirements. Have a good understanding of printing processes, materials, finishing, fabrication, and installation. Review proofs, samples, colours, materials, and finished products where required. Work closely with suppliers and production partners to resolve technical or production-related issues. Ensure final deliverables meet the expected creative and production standards.
