he Role

Our aim is to hire a warm, organised and guest-focused Host to join the team at Cecconi's Amsterdam .

We're looking for someone who understands that first impressions matter. At Cecconi's, hospitality begins long before guests receive their food or drinks. As a Host, you'll be one of the first people our guests interact with, setting the tone for the entire dining experience through your professionalism, warmth and attention to detail.

You'll work alongside passionate hospitality professionals who hold themselves to high standards and are committed to excellence. In this role, you'll manage reservations, welcome guests, coordinate seating and ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for from arrival through to departure.

What You'll Do

Deliver a warm, professional and memorable welcome to all guests

Manage restaurant reservations and guest enquiries efficiently

Answer incoming calls professionally and accurately

Coordinate seating arrangements to support smooth restaurant operations

Build genuine relationships with members, regular guests and visitors

Work closely with floor teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience

Support administrative and reservation-related tasks as required

Consistently uphold Cecconi's and Soho House service standards

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Host, Receptionist or in a guest-facing hospitality role

Experience managing reservations and handling guest enquiries in a busy environment

Naturally warm, engaging and guest-focused

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with OpenTable and MICROS preferred

Basic knowledge of InDesign is an advantage

Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods

Flexible availability, including opening, closing, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Fluent English required; Dutch and additional languages are a plus

Compensation: Salary above Horeca CAO. €2.511,89 gross per month (no youth salary will be applied if younger than 20 years old)

Travel allowance > 7.5km (75% of travel costs will be reimbursed)
