SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Smallwood is an International Design firm headquartered in Atlanta, USAwhich is complemented by a thriving Design office in Singapore. Within this office, our firmcontains a seasoned group of design professionals providing innovative andleading design services for hospitality, residential, office and masterplanning projects.

We are looking to grow our core design team by the addition of young andkeen Senior Interior Design staff whoare willing to work hard, listen andlearn and ultimately contribute across the board in our office. Our office has a specific emphasis onHospitality, so we are a good fit for any young potential designer wishing toget into the Hospitality market and learn design on the international stage.From our Singapore office we work Internationally, including markets inSoutheast Asia, India, The Middle East, and Africa.

JobResponsibilities in a Leading Role:

• Ability to lead ateam and execute a project design to International standard.
• Experience to oversee and orchestrate with a team thefull scope of ID documentation from presentation to technical documents.
• Able to work and contribute in a team environment,must be a team player.
• Willing to step up as needed and take ownership ofmeeting deadlines and delivery schedules.
• Must be creative,open-minded, and imaginative.
• Familiarity with Sketch-up 3D modelling will be anadvantage.
• Working with the Principal(s)or Associate(s), shall direct, supervise, and check activities of fellow TeamMembers engaged in preparing Interior design write-ups, drawings andspecification documents for Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase,Design Development Phase and Construction Documentation Phase of a project.
• Works in tandemwith highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.

Qualifications / Skills:

• LargeScale International Hospitality Project Design Experience
• StrongCreative Professional
• Hands-onCapability & Leadership in Conceptualization, Graphic Presentation andDevelopment / Implementation of Hotel FF&E Design & Documentation
• LargeScale International Hospitality Project Design Experience
• Minimum10 years Professional Experience
• Excellent presentationand written communication skills
• Analytical andproblem-solving skills
• Keen attention todetails
• Ability to work independently
• Technicallycreative and open-minded
• Autocadand Photoshop skills required

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in Interior Design
• 10 years of InteriorDesign experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, andMicrosoft Office suite is required
