heavy equipment operator

We are looking for qualified excavator operators for our Civil sites . Experience is an asset. Ability to work independently is important. Foreman skills and experience will be given priority interviewing.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Expertise in operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers and skid steers
• Trenching for Mainlines, exposing utilities, and Servicing the Mainline
• Finish Grading and Sloping capabilities
• Participate in weekly/daily crew meetings
• Complete routine maintenance and daily paperwork for equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Ability to interpret and read drawings and specifications
• work productively in a fast paced environment and have the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must have valid BC Driver's License (Class 1 License is a asset, but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
