We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee all quantity surveying aspects, ensuring cost-efficiency and contract compliance throughout project lifecycles within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and estimates for construction projects.
- Manage and coordinate the tendering process, including evaluation and negotiation.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Review and administer contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure budget adherence.
- Conduct risk assessments related to costs and advise on financial implications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout all project phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract law, and cost control.
- Proficient in industry-standard cost estimating and project management software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with UAE construction codes and regulations is highly preferred.
