<p>We are looking for:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Ship Hull Fitters // Ship Plate Fitters //Platers&nbsp;</strong></p></li></ul><p>for marine industry in Denmark</p><p>Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key tasks:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assemble and install ship hull sections according to blueprints and specifications</p></li><li><p>Align and secure structural parts to ensure a proper fit</p></li><li><p>Cut, shape, and prepare metal components for assembly</p></li><li><p>Perform welding, bolting, and riveting tasks as required</p></li><li><p>Locates and marks reference lines; such as center, buttock, and frame lines</p></li><li><p>Positions parts in hull of a Ship, assisted by rigger</p></li><li><p>Aligns parts relation to each other using jacks, lever blocks, chain blocks, clips, wedges, etc.</p></li><li><p>Marks location of holes to be drilled and installs temporary fasteners to hold parts in a place for welding or revising</p></li><li><p>Install packing, gasket, liner, and structural accessories and members such as doors, hatches, brackets, and clips</p></li><li><p>Tack and weld clips and brackets in place prior to permanent welding</p></li><li><p>May prepare molds and templates for fabrication of non-standard parts</p></li><li><p>May roll, bend flange, cut and shape plates, beams, and other heavy metal parts using shop machinery; such as plate roll, presses, bending&nbsp; brakes, and joggle machine</p></li><li><p>Performs other duties as required</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>English - must be able to communicate in English&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety</p></li><li><p>Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers</p></li><li><p>Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience is good to have but that's not necessary</p></li></ul><p><strong>We Offer you:</strong></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Full time job in Denmark&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Danish contract signed with Scan Con Construction, work for Scan Con Construction</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Attractive salary&nbsp;(also vacation money, Free Choice Account, Labor market pension)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We guarantee 37 hours per week with possibilities for overtime (The normal average weekly working hours are according to the Union agreement as well as any local agreements)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Flight tickets</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Transport to/ from job&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accommodation&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Safety courses</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work tools and clothes</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Help with applying for a residence and work permit after the Fast track scheme</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Health insurance / Medical help</p><p><strong>INTERESTED?</strong></p><p>If you have any questions about the position, or if you wish to apply, you are welcome to contact Magda Kosecka HR Administrator on phone: +45 32 82 00 00 or send your application to&nbsp;cv@scan-con.dk&nbsp;– in e-mail title please write <strong>Ship Hull Fitters // Ship Plate Fitters //Platers&nbsp;</strong></p>
