- 5th Class power engineer is required
- Follow Saskatchewan Mining and Minerals maintenance system
- Be proficient in working with low pressure boilers
- Be comfortable working with automated controls
- comfortable doing regular testing of boiler chemicals and water quality
- Keep replacement parts repaired and ready for replacement as required
- Be willing to work on other factory items including pumps and various equipment
- hold title of Steam Chief for TSASK purposes in operation of low pressure boilers
- Assure all work is performed safely
- Perform all other tasks as directed by the Plant Manager or Assistant Plant Manager.
- Be familiar with and follow all applicable sections of the ISO manual.
- Ensure that good housekeeping standards are followed.
- Fill out Inspection log books before operating equipment
- Job is a union position with hours of 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
- Possibility of some overtime or call backs.
