Same Day Glass Services is looking for a reliable and experienced *Glazier* to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial glass projects, including glass replacement, storefronts, doors, windows, shower enclosures, mirrors, and other glazing installations.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently at different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, handle, and install various types of glass.
• Install and replace commercial and residential glass.
• Install storefront, door, window, shower, mirror, and other glazing systems.
• Remove damaged or broken glass safely.
• Install and adjust door hardware, closers, hinges, thresholds, and related hardware.
• Apply silicone, sealants, glazing materials, and setting blocks.
• Read measurements, drawings, and work instructions.
• Travel to multiple job sites throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and site supervisors.
• Complete job documentation, measurements, and time sheets accurately.
• Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous glazing experience preferred.
• Commercial glazing experience is an asset.
• Ability to accurately measure glass and openings.
• Ability to safely handle large and heavy glass.
• Good knowledge of glazing tools and installation methods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling glass safely.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset.
• Reliable transportation is an asset.
