We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe from September 2026 . This is a long-term position, offering the chance to make a real impact on pupils during a key stage of their learning journey.
The Role
- Full-time Year 4 teaching position
- Long-term assignment starting September 2026
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Supporting pupils' progress across all areas of learning
- Preparing pupils for and supporting delivery of Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) assessments
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
