Nursery Chef to Create Healthy Meals That Help Children Thrive Are you a passionate chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and wants a role with a great work-life balance? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Chef to join a friendly early year’s setting, providing healthy and appealing meals and snacks for young children in a safe and nurturing environment. Post: Nursery Chef Start Date: ASAP Region: Oxford Part time: 4 days a week/ / 51 weeks a year Permanent Salary : Competitive £££££££ Must be a car driver! Make a Real Difference Every Day As our Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management. You will play an important role in supporting children's wellbeing and development through healthy eating. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and serving fresh, balanced meals and snacks Managing dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards Monitoring food storage, stock rotation and temperature records Ordering food supplies and managing stock levels Completing food safety documentation and checks Supporting Environmental Health inspections Promoting a safe and positive environment for children and staff What We're Looking For My client is seeking a reliable, organised and caring individual who has: Experience working in a catering, kitchen or chef role preferrable in a nursery A strong understanding of food hygiene and allergen management Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A positive and flexible approach to teamwork A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

Essential Requirements Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one) Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate Allergen Awareness Training (in line with Natasha's Law requirements) Right to work in the UK Why Apply?
