Senior Storekeeper

Job description

Manage the complete inventory lifecycle , including receiving, quality inspection, labeling, storage, cycle counts, and physical stock-takes, to ensure inventory accuracy and optimal stock availability.

Maintain and update inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system to ensure data integrity and accurate stock visibility.

Reconcile physical inventory with system records , investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances to maintain accurate reporting and operational reliability.

Monitor inventory levels against predefined reorder points and coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials and minimize stock shortages.

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storage, material handling, and issuing processes to improve operational consistency and efficiency.

Analyze warehouse space utilization and implement storage optimization initiatives to maximize capacity, accessibility, and operational productivity.

Maintain documentation for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards to maintain an audit-ready warehouse environment.

Implement inventory security and loss prevention measures to minimize stock damage, theft, and deterioration.

Monitor and control sensitive and high-value inventory items to ensure enhanced protection and accountability.

Skills description

What will you need?

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience.

Technical skills:

Analytical aptitude: Demonstrated ability to handle complex stock reconciliation, analyze inventory turnover rates, and manage high-value material flows.
