Quint Development Corporations Pleasant Hill Place is a 24-hour staffed transitional home for mothers and children working toward family reunification. Program Staff support residents in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while helping them build parenting skills, stability, and independence.

Position:

Permanent full-time, 40 hours per week.

Rotation:

• Friday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.; Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 4:00 p.m.midnight.

Responsibilities:

• Build trusting relationships and provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement.
• Monitor resident well-being and respond to safety concerns and emergencies.
• Support daily activities, parenting, appointments, recreation, and resident programming.
• Connect residents with community resources and outside supports.
• Manage conflict and challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Document resident progress, interactions, and incidents.
• Contribute to the cleaning, maintenance, and daily upkeep of the home.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting marginalized communities and parents.
• Knowledge of diverse cultures, beliefs, and values.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mediation and conflict resolution.
• Post-secondary education in human services, equivalent experience, or a combination of both is an asset.
• Valid SK Driver's License.
