IT Infrastructure Engineer Intern

Your tasks

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you will be working alongside our experienced IT team to assist in the setup, maintenance, and support of our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in configuring servers, managing network devices, and troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues. • Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining on-premise servers and cloud-based environments.
• Support in monitoring and managing network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Monitor system performance and provide input on potential improvements.
• Document infrastructure processes and maintain accurate system logs.
• Work with senior engineers to implement security best practices and updates.
• Participate in hardware and software inventory management.
• Learn and apply IT automation tools and infrastructure management software.
• Assist in ensuring uptime and reliability of the company's infrastructure systems.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and server management.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the IT infrastructure space.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
