System Administrator
Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including servers, routers, switches, and VLANs.
Deploy and manage tools for proactive IT infrastructure monitoring and oversight.
Administer and optimize virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere and vCenter) for high availability and performance.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Veeam, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Implement and manage secure site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
Ensure system security through endpoint protection, Group Policies in Active Directory, and intrusion detection systems.
Optimize and manage cloud applications, including Microsoft 365 and Azure AD Connect.
Administer and monitor MSSQL databases, ensuring secure connections, high availability, and reliable backups.
Deploy and maintain storage systems like QNAP to enhance data management and performance.
Act as a second layer of support, resolving escalated hardware and software issues.
Create and utilize scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation and efficiency.
Assist network architects in designing and maintaining network models.
Manage and maintain operating systems, platforms, and server environments.
Deploy, update, and manage software across the network.
Implement security measures, conduct basic testing, and manage cloud and physical network storage.
Collaborate with help desk and IT support teams to resolve and document troubleshooting tickets, bug reports, and errors.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, System Administration, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or a similar role.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Hands-on experience with cloud applications like Microsoft365 and Azure AD Connect.
Strong knowledge of storage solutions and virtualization platforms, including VMware and Citrix XenApp.
Certifications (preferred): CCNA, VMware, Microsoft (MCSA), or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
