Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes.
- Plan and execute warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency
- Ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery according to SLAs/KPIs.
- Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs.
- Lead and supervise warehouse team leaders, supervisors, and ground staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
- Allocate manpower based on volume forecasts and workload.
Ensure accurate stock records and regular cycle counts.
- Manage WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other logistics systems (i.e. SAP)Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g., WSH Act, SCDF regulations).
- Conduct regular safety drills, risk assessments, and audits.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Drive Kaizen/Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Analyze KPIs and operational data to propose process improvements.
- Lead or participate in automation and digital transformation projects.
- Serve as the key contact for customers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial position within Contract Logistics.
- Proven track record in P&L management, Lean implementations, and leading large, multi-functional teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand lease terms, pricing models, and SLA penalties.
- Excellent executive presentation skills for leading customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and internal steering meetings.
