Payroll Specialist

- Process end-to-end monthly payroll for multiple client accounts, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and adjustments
- Calculate and verify salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and end-of-service benefits accurately
- Maintain and update payroll master data for each client in the payroll system
- Ensure payroll input is received, validated, and processed within each client's agreed SLA and cut-off dates
- Generate and distribute payslips and payroll reports to clients and employees
Tax & Social Insurance Compliance
- Calculate income tax withholdings in line with Egyptian Tax Authority requirements and ensure timely remittance
- Calculate and reconcile social insurance contributions for employees across client accounts
- Coordinate with the Personnel/Government Relations team on social insurance registrations, updates, and filings
- Prepare payroll-related documentation required for tax and social insurance audits or inspections
- Stay current on changes to tax brackets, insurance ceilings, and labor law provisions affecting payroll calculations
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Prepare monthly payroll registers, cost reports, and variance analyses for each client
- Reconcile payroll accounts, bank transfer files, and general ledger entries related to payroll
- Prepare accruals for leave, bonuses, and end-of-service indemnity as required
- Support internal and client audits with accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
Client Service & Coordination
- Act as the payroll point of contact for assigned client accounts, responding promptly to queries
- Liaise with HR, Personnel, and Finance teams to ensure payroll inputs (attendance, leave, contracts) are complete and accurate
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee complaints in a timely, professional manner
- Support onboarding of new client accounts by setting up payroll structures and validating historical data
Process & Data Integrity
- Maintain strict confidentiality of salary and personal data across all client accounts
- Follow internal controls and approval workflows for payroll processing and disbursement
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time
- Maintain organized, audit-ready payroll files for each client
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–6+ years of payroll experience, ideally handling multiple clients or entities; outsourcing/consultancy background is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, income tax regulations, and Social Insurance Law as they apply to payroll
- Proficiency in payroll software/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Good Arabic and English communication skills
