Role: HR Lawyer
Location: Remote EMEA
Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Lawyer / Employment Counsel to support our growing international workforce and partner closely with our HR lead and leadership team.
We are looking for a commercially minded person who can help us build scalable people practices, navigate employment risks, and support employment-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate combines strong employment law expertise with sound business judgment, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate employment agreements, executive contracts and consultancy arrangements
Advise on employee lifecycle matters, including contracts, employee relations, disciplinary matters and terminations
Support organizational changes, restructurings and workforce planning initiatives
Advise on remote work, international hiring and cross-border employment matters
Develop, review and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks and internal procedures
Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations
Monitor employment law developments and ensure compliance across relevant jurisdictions
Manage and coordinate external counsel where required
Requirements
Qualified lawyer in an EU or US jurisdiction
3–5 years of experience
Employment and labour law experience gained at an international law firm or a leading employment boutique
Experience advising multinational employers
Strong understanding of employment law frameworks
Excellent English communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong business judgment and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting international or distributed workforces
Exposure to workforce restructuring and organizational change projects
Experience with executive employment matters
Experience with compensation, incentive plans and equity-related matters
