Legal and Compliance Specialist
Your tasks
We are seeking a Legal and Compliance Specialist to support commercial contracts, corporate matters and regulatory compliance for our Singapore operations and cross-border business activities.
- Draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier, procurement, employment and confidentiality agreements.
- Advise on corporate, employment, data protection and commercial compliance matters.
- Identify contractual and regulatory risks in cross-border projects and coordinate with external counsel when required.
- Assess export control and sanctions risks involving controlled products, technologies, end users and destinations.
- Maintain contract templates, authorisation records, corporate documents and compliance files.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory changes and advise business teams on their implications.
- Support customer and supplier due diligence, compliance questionnaires and internal or external reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Law or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years or above of relevant corporate legal, law firm or compliance experience.
- Familiarity with commercial contracts, procurement agreements, employment matters and compliance.
- Knowledge of Singapore corporate, employment and commercial contract laws.
- Knowledge of US law or Indonesian laws and regulations is an advantage.
- Experience or knowledge of US export controls, economic sanctions and related compliance requirements is an advantage.
