HSE Manager

Ensuring a safe workplace and a continuously strengthening out safety culture is our highest priority. We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to play a key role for NorSea in the NorSPIE consortium. NorSPIE is a consortium between SPIE Energy Danmark and NorSea Danmark, working closely together on the General Maintenance Contract (GMC) for our TOTALEnergies production platforms in the Danish Offshore sector. As the HSE Manager, you will lead and support HSE activities across the organization, working closely with a team of skilled Danish and Expat colleagues who plan and coordinate offshore maintenance in close collaboration with offshore-based teams. In total an organisation with approx. 350 colleagues
About you
Offshore Oil & Gas industry experience and physically able to work on offshore installations
Ability to build and maintain strong and good working relationships with colleagues, partners and external stakeholder, even under pressure
Able to present HSE findings and statistics to higher management or external stakeholders clearly and firmly
In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems
Strong expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment and preventive measures
Effective teaching and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and influence others
Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate others and guide teams
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and cultures
Excellent planning and reporting skills
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with ISO management and audits within ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
Minimum 5 years of handson experience within Health, Safety & Environment
Minimum level of education, BTEC Higher National Diploma, College Degree or Bachelor level supplemented with relevant experience.
Fluent in Danish & English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
Overall responsible for the NorSPIE HSE department and its performance
Lead and drive NorSPIE’s overall HSE strategy and safety culture
Establish and maintain a strong safety culture in line with NorSPIE HSE requirements and rules
Participate in and ensure onboarding of new employees ensuring clear understanding of HSE requirements
Ensure full compliance with HSE legislation, company standards and governance requirements
Set, monitor and continuously improve HSE objectives and performance KPIs
Provide leadership on major risk assessments, hazard analyses and incidents investigations. Provide guidance on corrective actions
Act as a trusted HSE advisor to management and key stakeholders
Lead HSE management systems, audits and regulatory compliance activities
Analyse and report all HSE accidents, incidents and statistics to management
Maintain visible leadership through onshore presence and regular offshore engagement
Actively participate in internal and external audits and inspections in a proactive manner
Develop, implement and maintain audit and inspection programs
Prepare, lead, organize and follow up on internal and external safety audits
