Microsoft Security Consultant – Microsoft Purview

Contract: 12 Months, Renewable

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Purview to support enterprise customers across data security, information protection and compliance.

The role combines hands-on Purview implementation with solution design, pre-sales and customer advisory, working closely with clients and Microsoft stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of Microsoft Purview across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement Information Protection, DLP, Data Security Posture Management, Information Barriers and Insider Risk Management.
• Configure sensitive information types, data classification, sensitivity labels, retention and data lifecycle policies.
• Conduct data scanning, cataloguing and information protection activities across enterprise environments.
• Lead technical presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
• Understand customer security requirements and design appropriate Microsoft security solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Purview, data protection and security best practices.
• Work closely with sales, solution and Microsoft teams on pre-sales and go-to-market activities.
• Conduct client training, workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Requirements

• About 10 or more years of cybersecurity experience, with strong hands-on Microsoft security expertise.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Purview and enterprise implementations.
• Strong knowledge of DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk, data classification, sensitivity labelling and retention policies.
• Experience implementing Purview across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of data protection, compliance and security requirements.
• Previous pre-sales, solution consulting or customer-facing experience.
• Comfortable delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, PoCs and workshops.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior customers.
