- Examine plans, drawings and site layouts.
- Inspect construction of building and engineering construction.
- Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes.
- Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Document work completed.
- Conduct quality control.
- Recommend corrective or enforcement action.
- Ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected.
- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
