Head of Dealing Desk - FX/CFD

About the company

We are hiring on behalf of a client for a Head of Dealing Desk opportunity with an FX/CFD brokerage that’s expanding its global presence and establishing its Dubai operation. We are seeking an experienced Head of Dealing Desk to lead their global trading operations within a Forex & CFD brokerage. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing execution quality, liquidity management, dealer performance, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the trading environment in a dynamic market.

Your tasks

• Lead and supervise the Dealing Desk, overseeing daily trading operations and market execution
• Manage strategic relationships with liquidity providers and execution venues
• Monitor and optimize execution quality, slippage, spreads, pricing, and order routing performance
• Ensure optimal performance of MT5 trading servers, bridges, and liquidity connections
• Oversee symbol configuration, swap settings, trading sessions, and market operations
• Monitor dealer activities and enforce strict adherence to internal trading policies
• Investigate execution issues and resolve trade-related escalations promptly
• Collaborate with Risk Management, IT, and Compliance teams to maintain operational excellence
• Develop comprehensive dealing procedures, workflows, and performance standards
• Build, train, and mentor a high-performing dealing team

Requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in Forex/CFD brokerage dealing operations
• Extensive knowledge of MT5 Manager, liquidity bridges, and institutional execution
• Hands-on experience with PrimeXM, Centroid, oneZero, or equivalent infrastructure platforms
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, execution optimization, and pricing dynamics
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to perform effectively under fast-paced market conditions

Preferred qualifications

• Proven experience managing institutional trading operations at scale
• Working knowledge of FIX API, liquidity aggregation, and bridge configuration
• Previous experience leading international dealing teams across multiple time zones
