Dispatcher Manager

About the Role: Join a long-established family-owned company with 45 years of experience in the household moving business. We work with independent owner-operators across Western Canada and are planning to expand nationally.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and working in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The role requires excellent communication and relationship-management skills, as you'll work closely with customers and independent owner-operators from diverse backgrounds.

Job responsibilities: Manage daily dispatching, scheduling, and coordination of independent owner-operators.

Coordinate moves, routes, assignments, and customer requirements.

Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.

Build strong relationships with customers and owner-operators.

Coordinate with drivers from diverse backgrounds and varying English proficiency.

Support smooth operations and the company's national expansion .

5–10 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations.

Strong customer service and relationship management skills.

Excellent spoken and written English communication .

Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to work effectively with independent contractors .

Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Team-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in household moving or transportation is preferred.
