The Role
Responsibilities include:
Drilling in the horizontal directional drilling method using HDD drilling rigs with a capacity of over 500 tons of pulling force
Coordinating and instructing the drilling helpers
Independent work with modern technical systems and machines
Inspection, care and maintenance of drilling rigs
Precise and complete management of drilling protocols
Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Compliance with safety and cleanliness standards on the construction site

What it takes:
Current driver’s licence
White Card
First aid certificate
10+ years of experience operating HDD Drilling equipment
Cert III in Trenchless Technology or Drilling (or equivalent)
Experience operating HDD or general construction machinery such as pumps and basic mechanical knowledge
Willing to work in remote locations and ability to work 12-hours days
Willing to work on roster 2:1
Willing to travel to other countries if required by projects
Leadership experience
Physically Fit
Enjoy working outdoors in a team-focused environment
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment safely & efficiently
Commitment to Company HSE regulations and site-specific rules
Able to pass a mine site Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen
Able to provide National Police Clearance
Must have existing Australian work rights
Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 per annum AA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability
