Investment Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to support investment decision-making through financial analysis, market research, valuation modeling, and portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate will evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, analyze financial performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize portfolio returns and support strategic investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis of companies, industries, and markets.
Build and maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting, and investment analysis.
Perform fundamental and quantitative analysis on equities, fixed income securities, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
Research market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments impacting investment performance.
Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to portfolio managers and senior leadership.
Monitor existing investments and evaluate portfolio performance against benchmarks.
Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and corporate disclosures.
Assess investment risks and identify opportunities for portfolio optimization.
Support due diligence processes for new investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
Develop investment reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
Ensure compliance with investment policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, brokers, and research analysts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, portfolio management, corporate finance, or financial planning.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and valuation techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
Experience analyzing financial statements and performing ratio analysis.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I/II/III or progress toward certification.
MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Morningstar, or Refinitiv platforms.
Knowledge of portfolio management and asset allocation strategies.
Familiarity with financial programming tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
