Operations Lead

Responsibilities:

Review factory layout, production flow, utilities, and operational readiness.

Validate equipment installation, ergonomics, and workflow efficiency. Develop practical production SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.

Establish hygiene, sanitation, traceability, and production control procedures. Support equipment commissioning, production trials, and start‑up activities.

Work with equipment suppliers and technical teams to ensure smooth ramp‑up. Prepare the facility for GMP, HACCP, NAFDAC, SON, and other regulatory requirements.

Ensure documentation, processes, and controls meet food safety and compliance standards. Train production and quality teams on agreed operating procedures. Build operator and supervisor capability for consistent, compliant production. Establish key production controls for yield, waste, downtime, and output.

Implement practical monitoring systems to ensure stable and predictable operations.

Requirements:

Strong food manufacturing or factory commissioning experience.

Practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP, NAFDAC, SON and food safety systems.

Experience developing SOPs, production systems, and operational documentation.

Hands‑on, structured, and comfortable working directly with factory teams and equipment suppliers.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving start‑up environment.
