Packaging Engineer

The role is responsible for designing export packaging for overseas customers to achieved S,Q,C,D,E standard. •KD Export Packaging Design & Standardize Packaging: Lead packaging design, create packing specifications, and oversee trials for maximum efficiency. •2D/3D CAD Modeling: Create precise 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CATIA based on export packaging concepts. •Prototype Development & Supplier Management: Select suitable materials, design custom packaging prototypes, and coordinate with suppliers through delivery and validation. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality, and other teams to meet new model launch timelines. •Technical Drawings & Bidding Preparation: Update final engineering drawings and compile data packages for material procurement and supplier bidding •Design Refinement: Improve packaging designs based on trial results, finalize material lists, and verify setup schedules with cross-functional teams. •Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project timelines, resolve potential risks, track internal system approvals (e-AR, PR/PO, PKGI, G-KD), and provide weekly status updates •Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards

Qualifications: Bachelor's or higher degree in Industrial Engineer, Logistic Engineer or any other related engineering fields. Proven experience in similar role, preferably in the Packaging Engineering. Design experience 3-6 years in Packaging Engineering or Packaging design in car manufacturing company will be advantage Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including Package Design, Material Design and Material Selection. Good command of both spoken and written in English, able to communicate effectively. Computer literacy especially in CATIA in Microsoft Offices and Outlook. Ability to work effectively in multi-culture & cross functional. Work as team and ability to work under pressure of deadline on multiple assignment. Having experience in the automotive business will be an advantage.
