Technician, Immunology

Your tasks

Assist in formulating, reviewing and maintaining standard operating procedures for use in the workplace (Laboratories).

Key Duties & Responsibilities 1.Implement guidelines and regulations to ensure safety in the workplace;

2.Maintain equipment and facilities in a functional condition;

3.Assist in the preparation of students’ practicals, industrial training, internship and fieldwork;

4.Participate in research and consultancy for best practices;

5.Implement standard operating procedures in the workplace;

6.Maintain a safe and clean working environment;

7.Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• An Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Sciences

• Area of Specialization: Immunology OR Molecular Biology with strong foundation

At least 3 years’ experience working in Medical Immunology OR Molecular Biology Laboratories.

• Proficiency in using machines and computers.
