About the Project

As a Senior QA Engineer (Manual Testing) , you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex applications in the finance/stock exchange industry . You will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to define test strategies, execute test cases, and drive quality improvements.

Tech Stack & Tools

Testing Methodologies: Functional, Regression, UAT, Exploratory, Performance Testing

Defect Tracking & Test Management: JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray

API Testing: Postman, Swagger

Databases: SQL, Oracle

Agile & CI/CD: Scrum, Kanban, Jenkins, Git

Daily tasks

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Document test results, report defects, and participate in root cause analysis
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

At least 5+ years of experience in manual software testing

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect management

Hands-on experience with test case management and issue-tracking tools

Ability to perform API testing using Postman or similar tools

Good command of English

Nice to Have

Experience in the finance or stock exchange industry

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Familiarity with basic automation concepts and scripting

ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced Level)

Must have: Testing, SDLC, defect management, test case management, API testing, Postman

Nice to have: JMeter, LoadRunner, ISTQB
