Start-Up Discipline Specialist II

Responsibilities:

Work with the start-up coordinator & Start-up Manager to ensure that OE/IIF expectations are met. Support the Start-Up Manager in the development and execution of the project Start-Up Plan. Provide unit-specific expertise during planning and to the production coordinators during start-up. Act as the focal point for interfacing with the Operations, Integrated Commissioning, and Facility Engineering Teams to ensure a safe and effective planning and execution of start-up activities Development and execution of downstream start-up procedures to ensure a safe and efficient start-up of the project Integrated assets.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a closely related position Discipline-appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience Proficient in Work Management System Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities Knowledgeable of Project Completions activities and typical commissioning practices including typical Systems Completion Database software (e.g., WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, Orbit) Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
