Senior IT Business Partner
Overview
A leading global engineering and technology organization is seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to lead IT strategy, service delivery, and technology initiatives across a key business division. This is a senior leadership role that combines strategic business engagement with operational oversight, ensuring that IT investments and capabilities support business priorities and broader enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior business leaders to define technology priorities, shape IT strategy, and ensure alignment with broader enterprise objectives.
- Oversee IT operations, budgets, vendor relationships, and service performance, ensuring consistent delivery of reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.
- Lead a portfolio of technology initiatives, providing direction on project execution, resource allocation, and delivery outcomes while managing a team of IT professionals.
- Strengthen collaboration between business units and centralized IT teams, while driving the adoption of enterprise technology standards, governance practices, and cybersecurity requirements across local and regional operations.
Requirements
You should hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, together with a recognized IT project management certification. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with a proven track record in a senior IT leadership role. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and SAP ERP systems is important, alongside a proven track record of large-scale IT projects delivery. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and people leadership skills are essential, with the ability to engage senior executives while maintaining oversight of operational delivery.
