About the role:
The Regional Sales/ Sales & Market Insights Intern will support one or more geographic regions (e.g., Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia) by delivering market research, competitive intelligence, itinerary analysis, and sales enablement support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytically minded candidate interested in luxury travel, consulting, sales strategy, or product development
Market & Trend Research
Conduct research on regional travel trends, consumer demand patterns, and emerging destinations
Monitor macro trends affecting travel (pricing, seasonality, geopolitical factors, sustainability, experiential travel)
Summarize findings into concise, executive-ready insights for Regional Sales leadership
Develop comparison matrics and insights to support sales strategy and training
Review Kensington itineraries to identify gaps, enhancement opportunities, and differentiators
Support development of new itinerary “threads,” seasonal offerings, or region-specific value adds
Assist with benchmarking service standards and identifying opportunities to elevate the client experience
Support Regional Sales leadership with ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and reporting
Assist in preparing internal sales tools, reference documents, and briefing materials
Maintain and organize research documents, trackers, and shared resources
Provide general administrative support to the Regional Sales teams as needed
Perform in-depth competitor analysis, including:
Itinerary structure and pacing
Pricing positioning and inclusions
Value propositions and experiential differentiators
Service models and support levels
Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma or certificate in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
Strong research and analytical skills; comfortable synthesizing large amounts of information
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI reporting
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Interest in luxury travel, global markets, and client-centric service design
