KBR is looking for a scaffolding inspector who is responsible for inspecting all scaffolds erected within the boundaries of SATORP plant to ensure they are suitable for safe use by others, comply with the relevant industrial standards, and follow company permit to work procedures.

Responsibilities:

Check the requirements from drawings and written instructions from supervisor, select the required materials and set the ground levels.

Assemble and fit together steel pipes, support beams, support braces, and clamps to form bases for scaffolds.

Use frame/section to lift and position section/frame of scaffolding and bolt pipes together to build up scaffolding equipment.

Place planks over beams to create safe working platforms.

Use prefabricated scaffolding when available to save time and money.

Dismantle and clean up scaffolding material at the completion of a job.

Housekeeping work after completing the job.

Must be aware of HSE rules and policy of SATORP.

Proper knowledge about plant hazard materials.

Must know about PPE and its use.

Must know about planks color code system and “use/no-use” tag system.

Attend safety and technical training as per the schedule.

Meet competency based training programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years’ experience in oil and gas maintenance – high school.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in oil and gas maintenance – diploma.

Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.

Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of oil and gas facilities.

Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Flexibility to live and work in KSA.
