Position Summary

KBR is looking for a Rotating Technician III who maintains rotating equipment in good condition. Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems to required standards.

Responsibilities

Allocate maintenance activities to various technicians and assemble the team.

Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to the foreman.

Organize manpower resources, equipment, and materials availability.

Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.

Provide technical advice to technicians to use proper tools and equipment.

Coordinate with operations, maintenance planning, and technical departments to execute and complete the job.

Ensure that SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.

Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.

Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.

Ensure compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.

Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.

Participate in safety audits.

Attend safety and technical training as scheduled.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in oil and gas maintenance – Diploma/Bachelors.

Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of oil and gas facilities.

Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.

Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.

Strategic management skills.

An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
