Mechanical Engineering - Components and Products - Qualification Level 4 Assignment Description To the R&D Mechanics team at our client, we are looking for a reinforcement of a Mechanical Design Engineer with extended experience in SolidWorks. The task will be to participate in a development project involving work related to new or improved design and optimization of mechanical structural design. The main design tools used are SolidWorks and SAP. Knowledge of casting and machining, gear wheels, and moving structures is considered meritorious. It is also meritorious to have design lead experience and/or previous experience from R&D Mechanics within Robotics. Responsibilities Participate in mechanical development projects within R&D Mechanics
Work with new and improved design and optimization of mechanical structures
Perform 3D design and modeling in SolidWorks
Use SAP as part of the engineering and documentation process
Collaborate with engineering teams in ongoing development work
Required Experience Mechanical Design Engineer experience
Extended experience with SolidWorks
Meritorious Knowledge of casting and machining
Experience with gear wheels and moving mechanical structures
Design lead experience
Experience from R&D Mechanics within Robotics
